One of the major reasons for me joining BCG right after graduating was the time and effort they put into personal development. Though I expected this to be an important topic at a later stage in my career, I was surprised how early they started working on this.
In my second week at BCG I was already participating in basic skills training with all my European peers who had just joined BCG. This not only gave me the opportunity to learn basic consulting skills, it was also a perfect way to get to know colleagues from other European offices.
I feel the tips and tools that were shared during this week by more experienced colleagues really helped me during my first period at BCG, and still prove valuable during my current casework.
